This month for our Blog Hop, we were given a colour challenge using two designated colours and one of our own choice. The colours were Flirty Flamingo and Starry Sky. I also chose Daffodil Delight.
I used the stamp set called ‘Coffee with Friends’. I love this set and I know many of us love to meet our friends for coffee or tea and catch up on our worlds!!
I stamped the image with Memento Black on Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and then I coloured it in using a water painter and the ink pads. Some of you might think I cheated for her hair and the croissants on the inside of the card, but I actually coloured the hair with Daffodil Delight and added some Flirty Flamingo over the top to create the brown colour!!
The background of the card was coloured using watered down Starry Sky that I blended in with the Flirty Flamingo on the steps. I used the Deckled Rectangles Diecuts to cut each layer out and layered the picture on Starry Sky cardstock, using Mini Dimensionals. This was then layered on Daffodil Delight and the base was Starry Sky. I used Basic White inside stamped with one of the images from the set and coloured in with the water painter and inks.

What a gorgeous card Elizabeth! Daffodil Delight was a great choice for the third colour. Your watercolouring is lovely, and I love that sentiment too!
